Shabby Chic For You - Totally Tilda DT Card

Good morning peeps,
I scared myself yesterday!!! Hubby & I had the day to ourselves as Jode was working & Gareth was babysitting little Ollie so hub's suggested postponing taking my strong painkillers & popping into town for a KFC. Mmmm how could I refuse especially as it was my turn to cremate something for tea lol. I finished off my online shopping treat before heading for town, lots of Pion Papers, 2 x Magnolia stamps & some dies :)
Trip into town just for KFC resulted in -
KFC + 2 pairs of jeans, belt, slippers, perfume, & 4 x chic lit books (me), 2 x T-shirts, 1 x 3/4 length shorts (hubby), paint (kitchen - not planned but I liked the colour!), 24 piece dinner set + 2 extra dinner plates + 3 x dips bowls, jug, whisk (just because it was pink!), cat treats, 4 pints of milk, giant Cadburys buttons (I love them), recycling food caddy bags, bubble bath, deodorant, mixed baby leaf salad, oh and some choc chip muffins :)
As we left Sainsburys & headed for the car I was a bit miffed that hubby wasn't holding my hand any more & it suddenly dawned on me that he was laden down with all these bags, a tin of pain, a big box of crockery, milk etc while I was toddling along beside him just carrying my handbag so I thought it best not to complain, good job he's strong lol. Driving home I had an OMG moment & scared myself, how much money had he let me spend £££££££££££££££££££££££ he's so irresponsible lol, I needed a lie down after my scare but I had a lovely time & thank goodness I paid cash so it won't scare me again seeing my unintended spree on my bank statement lol.
To top my day off I came home & sat on my door mat in the porch waiting for me was another Special Tilda ooooh lovely :)
Are you all still with me after all that waffle, if so I'll get down to business.

Today is new challenge day at

As you can see I've gone really shabby chic on this card & distressed pretty much everything, I made this card when Ali & I had our craft day a couple of weeks ago & it was an experiment for us both to have a play with spray paint, tip - wear gloves as we ended up with white hands.
The pin is homemade, the cheesecloth is a pressie from a lovely friend and the sparkle is glamour dust paint
I'm entering my card in the following challenges -
Allsorts - 1 or more hearts, Craft Your Days Away - distressing, Crazy 4 Challenges - layer it on, Corrosive - I heart You, Magnolia Stamp Lovers - twine, The Drunken Stampers - use something new (stamp & heart die), The Poodles Parlour - Valentines/love, Simply Create Too - love is in the air, Stempelsonne - Valentine, Craft Us Crazy - Valentine/love, Moving Along With The Times - blooming marvellous, Inspire Me Fridays & Make It Monday - anything goes linky party

Tilda as Lucia - Simon Says Stamp DT Card & Mini Candy Winner

Good morning peeps,
I had one of those days yesterday where I couldn't stay awake for very long. I tried catching up with some emails & blogging but Zzzzzz, I went all the way to America shopping in my favourite crafty store & somewhere among the Prima flowers it happened again Zzzzzz, I know America's a long way to pop in an afternoon but I was enjoying filling my cart up lol. I woke up being hit by Georgie (cat) very confused as it was dark except for the light in the dragons tank and I wondered what on earth was going on , it took a while to realise Georgie was bopping me wanting his tea, what a waste of a day, a big fat nothing achieved. I had planned to spend time in my craft room while hubby was at work but after I had slept pretty much most of the day away I was too tired to do anything, how does that work for goodness sake! I hear of other people who feel refreshed after a good sleep, well not me I just want more lol. Give me back my insomnia any day at least I get loads done lol.

I've just remembered my mini candy so rather than write down names of everyone who wanted to be entered which would take ages, I entered the comments number into Random.Org and typically after counting to almost the bottom of the comments list the lady who's number came up hadn't asked to be entered so I clicked it again and this time it picked -
number 17

Summer .... I wish! - Addicted To Stamps DT Card & More CANDY :)

 Good morning peeps,
I don't know where the last few days have gone! Ali & I had a craft day on Thursday which was lovely, full of the usual waffle & gossip & I'm sure it was the first time we didn't end up yelling at each other, or did we, we do it so much I loose track lol.
I had the bright idea of "cataloguing" my Magnolia stamps by stamping them all twice (one for reference & one for masking) & storing the images in a folder according to type e.g standing Tilda's, sitting Tilda's, backgrounds etc to make it easy for me to see them as several times I have bought duplicates not realising I already have them, but I had a bit of a shock when I realised what a mammoth task that will be! Four hours in after lots of "aaaah she's pretty" and black hands from the ink I think I'm almost half way through stamping my standing Tilda's, and I think I may need to buy a bigger folder lol.

A Special Magnolia With Stitches - Paper Play DT Card

Good morning peeps,
I've had a traumatic incident! I was attempting some colouring sat on the sofa when Diddy (cat) leaped right at me, so thinking he was just in one of his mad playful moods I told him off and told him to stop it, but he did it again, & again & again, he would not leave me alone. I must have been trying to fend him off for about half an hour before I spotted what the problem was, I only had a flipping locus on my top. OMG panic stations, I didn't know what to do so froze making a stupid whimpering noise before the brain finally kicked in & I swiped it off of me onto the rug & Diddly pounced & thankfully held the horrid creepy crawly under his paw until I got there with the tweezers. It must have jumped out onto me when I fed hubby's bearded dragons & I hadn't noticed, thank goodness for Diddly, if it had have crawled up into my wild curly hair I'd have been in real trouble trying to get it out lol.
